Not receiving email from hotel in aruba. Not in spam or junk. They receive my email I don't receive theirs.

I have an sbcglobal address. I use it both on currently.com and via outlook. It is not blocked or filtered. Added to contacts. There is no way to add to "safe senders" as some have suggested to others in the forum - the at&t/yahoo app doesn't include this setting.

And the vendor says they have not had this problem reported by others and they have many customers in the US.

I am hoping someone at AT&T can enable the sender on their network so I can receive the emails.

Hi @Kimmers,

I understand your concern. Let's get the help you needed.

Are you trying to access your email account through Currently or a 3rd party email client such as Outlook?

We recommend you use the following email troubleshooting steps that may help with not receiving emails from the specific email address.

  • Clear Cache and Cookies - The most common fix

  • Update Your Browser - many features are only compatible with the latest browser and we recommend updating it.

I hope the above information helps!

If you have any other questions, please don't hesitate to reach back out to us.

Thank you for your help, Justin. I use both Outlook via my home desktop pc and currently.com via Chrome on my work pc. I did clear my cookies on both pcs previously and that didn't solve the problem. I just now cleared the cache on my home pc. Is clearing the cache likely to help given I have not been able to receive the emails either via outlook on my home pc or via currently.com via my work pc? I already asked the hotel to send me a test email again last week and I never received anything back. I can call them ask them to try again but I don't want to do so until I hear back from you re: whether clearing the cache seems the problem at this point given what I've told you.

I am wondering whether it is possible that AT&T is blocking these emails via their servers?

Hey @Kimmers, we’re here to walk you through the right path in fixing email issues.

If you’re unable to receive email from a specific account, possibly, the email may be getting blocked hence we recommend you check on AT&T postmaster to get support.

When their support team receives a request with the needed information, requests are evaluated. If granted, the block will be removed within 24 to 48 hours. There are situations when mail interruptions or blocks are in place outside the AT&T domain. In these cases, we will attempt to make contact with the party initiating the block and seek a resolution. If there is no change after 48 hours, please include the current and complete error message that you are receiving in your follow-up email to abuse_rbl@abuse-att.net.

For further assistance, we are always here to help!

Thanks for contacting AT&T Community Forums!

I emailed abuse_rbl@abuse-att.net and on 3/10 and 3/13/24 and haven't received a reply. Any thoughts about how to proceed?
