No AT&T user ID associated with sbcglobal.net email

I can't reset my forgotten password for my sbcglobal.net email and I don't have an AT&T user ID associated with the email.  How do I recover the email account?

Happy to help you reset your email password, theandrewgraves.

 

It's best to use the forgot password option to reset your email password.

  1. Go to att.com/myatt.
  2. Select Forgot password?
  3. Fill out the password info.
  4. Choose security questions or temporary password and follow the prompts. If you choose a temporary password, we’ll let you know where we sent it.
  5. Create your new password.

The sbcglobal.net email doesn't have an associated AT&T user ID, so I'm unable to use the standard "forgot password" option.

Lol "fill out the password info"  The dude FORGOT HIS PASSWORD, that's why he's here.  Please read more carefully.

Hi I have the same issue. I have a sbcglobal.net email but no user ID and so cannot access my account. Additionally, I do not see a direct messaging button in the top right corner.
