Need to reset pacbell.net email password

I have an email account that stopped working a few weeks ago.   It was one of my sub-account emails.  I need the password reset.  The "password reset link" support sent did not work.  Need it done with urgency.  Who can help me out?

I get the following in the "manage sub-accounts" tab of my account:

This subaccount is linked to a user ID. You don't have permission to edit the password.

Hey there! We'd be happy to assist you with your subaccounts @Mr_josh!

Are you receiving a specific error code? Have you tried clearing cache and cookies? We ask this because this may help us determine why your not able to access your account.

We recommend creating a user ID. You can use one ID to manage multiple AT&T accounts and services. Find out how to add more accounts to your ID. Below are the steps for creating a user ID:

  • Go to the myAT&T sign-in page and select Create one now.
  • Enter your AT&T phone number or account number and your billing ZIP Code. You may also be asked to enter a verification code.
  • If there’s already a user ID for the account, choose from the options listed.
  • Enter your personal info to prove your identity.
  • Choose how you want to receive your verification code, if asked.
  • Enter the verification code we send you.
  • Enter a new user ID and password. Be sure your ID is an email address that starts with a letter.
  • Save your ID and your password to your device, if you choose.
  • Enter the contact info for your user ID.
  • Set up your security questions and answers.
  • Accept the AT&T User ID Terms & Conditions.
  • Choose whether you want to sign up for paperless billing for your accounts, if asked. If you go paperless, we’ll email you a link. Select it to verify your email address.
  • Select Finish Activation, if you’re creating an ID in the middle of a device activation process.

Please let us know if this helps!

I cleared the cache and get this when trying to reset the password:

Hmm… we can’t reset your password

We don’t have the account details we need to reset your password right now. To get help, call 800.288.2020.

I already did the verifcation process yesterday, thats where I see the "manage sub-accounts" where I used to be able to reset password but am not allowed.

Hi there, @Mr_josh. We understand that you are unable to to manage or reset your subaccount email. We can help you with that.

Since the earlier steps we provided did not work for you, our next step is, to bring this conversation into the Direct Message space. You will see a chat icon, next to a bell icon, in the upper right part of this thread. Our next message to you will appear there.

In the meantime, please gather your account information together.

Looking forward to working with you in the Direct Message space.

Still waiting for help, DM chat was disconnected and was asked to open another ticket?  Really disappointed at the support i've been given.  I would like to speak to a manager or have him call me please.
