My SBCGLOBAL.net e-mail Sub-account is missing? Did Att change something recently?

My SBCGLOBAL.net e-mail Sub-account is missing? Did Att change something? It will not let me log into my sub-account. Seems to have disappeared sometime last week. If I log into my regular account and go to manage sub accounts it is not there and it says my account does not support sub-accounts. Wow when did that happen and delete a sub account without notify the owner?

Let's help locate that missing subaccount, @dmingen56!

 

Since you can access your primary account, we suggest reviewing our article about creating and managing subaccounts. You'll want to look in the FAQ section for 'How do I disable or enable subaccounts?' section specifically. Follow these steps to see if your subaccount has been disabled: 

 

  • Go to your myAT&T Profile on a computer or tablet.
  • Choose Account users.
  • If you have more than one account, choose the account you want to manage from the dropdown.
  • Select Manage subaccount users.
  • Next to the subaccount that you want to change, select Disable. You can also enable a disabled subaccount.

 If the subaccount has been deleted, it will need to be recreated.

Thanks but that does not answer my question or solve the issue. I had a sub-account which to the best of my knowledge was deleted by ATT last Wednesday.  Seems ATT decided to change the rules for us old yahoo email users.

I get this message under "Manage Sub Accounts"

We apologize for the inconvenience, but your account type does not have the option to add subaccounts.

My issue is ATT took it upon itself to delete my sub-account without notice. I was hoping to be able to get access to it to make sure any important emails contacts were moved to another email service.  Does not seem like that is possible.

ATTHelp having the issue and I called several number and no one is unable to HELP. I really need access to this account as it has been my primary email account and have all history. Please help!!!

@csanto7 I had the same problem and was able to get it resolved after being on hold for a while.

This is what you need to do 

Since the email account you have is a free email account, you'll need to reach out to our Digital Assistance Center (DAC) for assistance with recovering it. You can reach them by calling customer care at 1(800)288-2020 and requesting a transfer over to them from there.
