Login to sbcglobal. net Email Takes Me to AT&T Login Page?
My 83-year-old mother has an sbcglobal.net email account from when she had AT&T years ago and she has always accessed her email via the Yahoo web site. Suddenly she is being taken to the AT&T login page, and is unable to login, because it says her password is wrong. We've tried multiple times and are now locked out. We also tried the password reset and it brings up security questions she never set up, so we cannot get past those, either. What the heck is going on?

I have found a way to get around it for now. I went to the yahoo site to try to login and it sent me to currently.com I created a new email with a @currently.com using the same beginning of my sbcglobal.net account. Then I merged my email accounts and created a login ID. Now I can log in at the currently site using that login and it asked you which email you want to use. Note: the sbcglobal.net still doesn't work and the @currently.com email doesn’t show my other emails. BUT my Login ID seems to work.
Example:
Regular email [email scrubbed]
Create [email scrubbed]
Add regular email to this account.
Create login ID Johndoe1
When you login in the currently.com email use the Login ID and it will ask you which account you want to view. Hopefully this helps people and stays working. It has been working about a week for me so far.
If this works for you please let others know. I know how frustrating this is for all of us!

I signed out then signed back in. I used the saved link I have for my email inbox. When I am not logged in it is a att.com site. I don't know what all the stuff is after the .com.
https://signin.att.com/dynamic/iamLRR/LrrController?IAM_OP=login&appName=m40842&loginSuccessURL=https%3A%2F%2Foidc.idp.clogin.att.com%2Fmga%2Fsps%2Foauth%2Foauth20%2Fauthorize%3Fnonce%3DlpTBAPLZdp%26redirect_uri%3Dhttps%253A%252F%252Fatt-yahoo.att.net%252Fisam%252Fsps%252Foidc%252Frp%252FATT-HBO-RP%252Fredirect%252FYahoo%26response_mode%3Dform_post%26alt_dest%3Dhttps%25253A%25252F%25252Fatt-yahoo.att.net%25252FFIM%25252Fsps%25252Fauth%25253FSPRelayState%25253Dhttps%2525253A%2525252F%2525252Fmail.yahoo.com%2525252Fd%252526FedId%25253Duuidd0e66a6f-0170-121f-a0f4-d019b7ba76dd%252526PartnerId%25253Dhttps%2525253A%2525252F%2525252Flogin.yahoo.com%2525252Fsaml2%252526FedName%25253DATT-Yahoo%26scope%3Dopenid%26response_type%3Did_token%26state%3D60zxNHe0es%26client_id%3Dm40842
Try the above and if it doesn't work delete all after the .com
I use a login ID that isn't an email address. Once I enter the password it asks which account I want to use.
I think I also went to the yahoo home screen and clicked on the email link in the top right and it took me to basically same thing.
Make sure when you signed in the new email with currently you link your emails and create a user ID.

If you have an ad blocker, turn it off. Worked for me.

I could not get into SBCglobal.net subaccounts for 2 weeks using Windows 8, laptop, and Chrome browser.
The system did not recognize my password, and locked me out every time. Could not remember one of my security questions in order to reset the password on my own.
Finally said screw it and gave ATT a call and they unlocked my accounts so that I could reset password & security questions.
Good to go now >> I hope.
ATT (pick option #2 when prompted): 1-{ {Social Security Number detected, text hidden}} Very helpful & patient peeps there.
Then go into you main account and link the subaccounts. Change security questions. Add security keys if you want, but not necessary for me to get into accounts.
This system is stuck together with post-its and scotch tape. We need to access owur email accounts 100% of the time from one web page entry point. WAY too many hoola hoops and different pages to go through to line all this up. ATT needs to streamline this and fix the password recognition problem. This is hosing lots of people up and needs to be a priority to get fixed ASAP

There's a rumor that speculators are trying to destroy the company and profit, as happened with Sears and Toysrus. Why they sold Groups and Answers.

i fix my email promble
go to att.com where you pay the bills
1.click on manage profile
2.under Security & settings you will see Linked accounts click on that
3.you should see your email if you do remove it or add it . not sure these steps will work with people who never had att as there internet service provider. on that same page you will see Link another account at the buttom
4.then click on Link another account it will take you to a new page click on Add an AT&T email account from ther and feollow the steps
rember to remove cookies and cach . i also change the avatar in my email put in a different picture not sure if that did anything lol. i hope this works for other people who have sbcglobal emails. this seems to have remerge sbcglobal again to att try this at your own risk . when i did this the webpage didn't finish so i let it sigh me out on its own seem to still work
if this work for you let me know

We had the same problem and my wife has been unable to access her email from sbcglobal.net for years, despite repeated attempts and calls to AT&T. Using the comment from DavidgGizmo, I was finally able to retrieve her email. Yay. Thank you.
