Logging into sbcglobal.net email results in immediate automatic logout

Hello,

Previously my sbcglobal.net account had been linked to another account. After unlinking my account from that one and changing the password, now when I log in I get an immediate redirect to a 'logout successful' page that then loops back to the login page. My assumption is that the password change was successful as using any other password rejects the credentials as expected. But currently due to this issue I am unable to access the sbcglobal.net account. I do not know if this is a result of removing the link to the other account or not, but as that is the only other change made to the account I would assume that it is related. The account that was originally linked is still the account that receives a password reset email, but as that is how I previously reset this password I have not tried doing so again.

Hi djoterrell, we can help you stay signed in to your email.

Let start by troubleshooting webmail to make sure this isn't a website issue. Follow these steps:

  • Clear your browser's cache and cookies - the most common fix

  • Update your browser - many features are only compatible with the latest browser, and we recommend updating it

  • Test signing in to your webmail using another browser

  • Disable browser tools or add-ons - this varies by device and browser

If you're using a 3rd party client such as Outlook, try this:

  • Test using webmail - if you're able to sign in to your email via the web, the issue points to the app or mailbox you are using

  • Use the latest version - updates and changes may prevent it from working properly

  • Rebuild your mailbox profile (you may lose some email doing this) - in some instances, rebuilding the profile fixes some issues

Let us know if this helped or if the problem persists.

I have tested with clearing the browser cache, I have tested in multiple browsers including firefox and Chrome as well as trying to login from my phone, all result in the same automatic 'logout successful' screen.

Hello, I am having this same problem, who can assist?

I have tested with clearing the browser cache, I have tested in multiple browsers as well as trying to login from my phone, all result in the same automatic 'logout successful' screen.

It takes me to the ATT Sign in to access AT&T Mail and Currently.com then it just logs me out after i enter my password.
