Locked out of sbglobal.net email account

In August, AT&T abruptly locked me out of my AT&T email account with a @sbcglobal.net address. I have called AT&T almost a dozen times and support is unable to unlock my account. Can something be done to get me access to this account again?

Are you getting any error code when you try to log into your account? Have you tried resetting your email password?

We recommend that you try to reset your password to get access back to your sbcglobal account. You can also follow the instructions below to rest your password:

Go to att.com/myatt.
Select Forgot password?
Fill out the password info.
Choose security questions or temporary password and follow the prompts. If you choose a temporary password, we’ll let you know where we sent it.
Create your new password.
