Locked out of sbcglobal.net email that I've had for over 20 years
Need help from an AT&T employee here in the USA. I got locked out of my email on April 18, 2023. Contacted AT&T on April 19th. They were not able to help because I did not have a "recovery" phone number or email address associated with my email. They recommended that I fill out a "recovery" form online which I did that same day. They said I would here from someone in 24-72 hours. A week later I called back because I had not heard back from AT&T. They said they were backlogged and it could take up to 2 weeks. Needless to say I was pretty upset. I called back on May 3, 2023. I spoke with a man by the name of Christian who tried to help but said he recommended that I fill out the recovery form again. Christian did say that he saw that I had filled out the first form but still recommended that I fill it out again. Three weeks later, no word from AT&T. Called back and again May 11,2023, no one from USA is ever available, nor any supervisors. The lady informed me that my email account is no longer available. This is not right. AT&T needs to fix this ASAP.
I've seen others with the same problem.
