Locked out of SBCGlobal email
Seems this is an issue for many SBCGlobal users. I had a friend tell me he, too, is locked out. I have had my sbc email account for over 20+ years. And one day, I'm just locked out. In the morning, I could check my email, but two hours later I'm locked out. I tried everything suggested in the forums. Nothing works. I spoke with someone at ATT, and they said they could not help me I needed to go to an ATT store, which I have not done. I followed the instructions on the forum and went to Currently and tried to log in and got the message I made too many attempts. I haven't attempted to log in in months since then. I cleared my cache/cookies, but nothing. I know the email address still receives emails because I tried to send an email to myself from another email account, and it did not bounce back. It seems to me that maybe ATT did an update (or SBC), and that may be causing the issue. Not sure, but to hear of so many other clients with the same issue, that's the only thing that makes sense.
