Let's get you into back into your email, @Vhsvsbeta

If you haven't already, we recommend resetting your password. Even if you're entering the correct information, this can still help by re-syncing your email.

  1. Go to att.com/myatt.
  2. Select Forgot password?
  3. Fill out the password info.
  4. Choose security questions or temporary password and follow the prompts. If you choose a temporary password, we’ll let you know where we sent it.
  5. Create your new password.

If this doesn't help, let us know! We may need to manually reset your password.

Hi there, Vhsvsbeta. We understand that you are trying to get access to your email. Let's look at this together.

First let's explain the message that you are getting. What that message is saying that the following information is not present on the email registration. That information is:

  1. An AT&T mobile number to receive SMS texts codes to reset the password.
  2. An alternate email address on the email profile to receive email password resets.
  3. Secrect Questions and answers, which is a very important back up resource to reset the email password and update your profile.

We do know that the password reset flow did not work for you, so we are going to look into this in more detail. Please watch for the Direct Message that will be coming your way. If you do not see the next message right away, please log out of forums accoutn and back in.

Looking forward to working with you.

These people haven’t helped me, that said my password is forever lost. And there’s nothing they can do about it.  I’m glad I cancelled att wireless and their uverse internet, now I’m completely free from this trash company. I’ve lost permanent access to my @att.net email because of these incompetent (Edited per community guidelines). That can’t even fix a problem THEY created.

I am having this exact same issue.  I have managed to change password to the att.net account but get the Not Found On Accelerator error.  Garbage programming.

I’m sorry this is happening to you as well.

We are also having issues,

but were told a little something different for the solution.

For almost 2 years my husband & I have had issues being randomly logged out of our email accounts.

We then have to use the "forgot my password" option to resume access to our emails.  It’s a hassle, but after contacting everyone I could via phone, email and social media, there didn't seem to be any other solution so we lived with it. We’ve had these accounts over 20 years so it seemed better than the alternative.

But now, I have once again been logged out of my account, and this time I can't get back in.

My husband & I both received an email yesterday, stating our emails had been compromised and we needed to create a new password. My husband was able to do this. I was not. The system is saying it doesn't have any of my information??!!

I spent my evening on the phone with a representative in Digital Assistance at AT&T and he tried multiple options but after hours on the phone with him and his supervisor, they were  unable to assist in the recovery of my email.

They informed me, my only options was to wait 7-10  days for the USPS to deliver a post card with a code that will confirm I am who I say I am. I am not sure why it has to go through USPS and I am not sure why my cell phone number or my husband's cell or email cannot be used as a recovery given that my email is a subaccount of his. And we have our internet and cellular service through AT&T as well.

Not having access to my email for 7-10 is just not acceptable.

I use this email professionally and personally and there will be significant issues as a result of being locked out.

It is just hard to believe this is how a major corporation handles issues !

We will be cancelling all AT&T services if this is not resolved promptly.

It’s been eye opening just how incompetent the system is.
