I am unable to login to my yahoo email, getting redirected to att
Help! I cannot login to my yahoo email. I originally had an att email xxx@att.net, but it was somehow transferred to yahoo. I have had his email address for about 20 years. Lately it has gotten so that I could not use my password and had to reset it using my alternative email/gmail address... I limped along doing that for months, but NOW when I try to log into my account - it go to "forgot my password", then I get redirected to an att page, and my account is not longer attached to att so I have no way to get into my email. I hope someone can help me! Thank you!

After months of problems, I spent a long time on the phone with AT&T and got my problem resolved. I really appreciate the help they provided, especially because I have done no business with AT&T in many years. They now allow me to use a BellSouth address that they assigned to me, rather than the one I picked myself. In any event, the problem is resolved. One of the problems I encountered was that AT&T locked my account because there were too many unsuccesful attempts to login. I had to get them to take the lock off my account to resolve the problem.

To fix the problem with being unable to send emails on my iPad, I deleted my account and reloaded it. This resolved the issue.

I am legacy free att.net email customer. I used to be able to use a login yahoo page to get to my att.net accounts. Now that page sends me to an att.net login page where I have to re-enter my id and it has a place for the password..
If I login and check email and then then logout to check another att.net account it ignores the new email address and re-logins me to the first account without entering a password. I am blocked from seeing the other account.
I have same problem on chrome and Microsoft edge.
Anyone know how to overcome this?

Thanks for reaching out @jwp12,
We’re glad to help get you back into your email. Since the site keeps remembering and logging you back into the first account, we have a few suggestions to help.
Please let us know the outcome of the above. If further help is needed we’ll be happy to assist.

I have an ameritech.net email address for over 20 plus years. I was able to logged into Yahoo with it but now after I put the email address in, the circle just go round and round for hours. I tried using other computers the same thing. It directs me to att but still it will not let me go any further than the email address.

This is ridiculous. I was in my Yahoo mail account, which was set up long before they merged with AT&T.
Now after I click on my profile and say, switch to my sbcglobal mail account, I am able to log into that just fine. Then, when I try to switch back, there is no option. I logged out of sbcglobal mail, and then try going to mail.yahoo.com, and it keeps bringing me to the AT&T login page. Typing in my yahoo id and password, or yahoo e-mail address and password fails. Going to my other computer, it works fine.
Please. Could someone at AT&T tech support please tell me how to circumvent this constant redirect? And, maybe fix your stuff so this doesn't keep happening to people?

Hello, I have a legacy att.net email. As of 4/29/2022, I started having a sign in problem where yahoo email sign in screen loops or reloads. I tried clearing browser cookies, but that did not help. I tried a different browser but didn't help. I tried to sign in from a different computer but still have the same problem. So now I can't access my email. Any clues to how to solve this problem?

No one is able to log in to any legacy accounts as of yesterday morning. Att.net, sbcglobal.net, etc. ATT has not made this a priority issue to resolve. I’m working on getting all of my important email sources updated to use my gmail account. This happened a year ago as well. One time is too many. Two times in a year is absurd.

@Brian46374 I definitely wanted to echo your concerns here. Exact same issues. I also remember this happening prior too like you pointed out. Took them a few days to remedy last time if I remember correctly. Major (Edited per community guidelines)! I hope they get this fixed quickly as I rely on these emails for business!

Same thing happened to me yesterday morning, that seems to be when it happened to everyone this time. I didn't have this issue before. I have a legacy bellsouth.net email. My life is in that account, lol! Ugh, I hope it's resolved soon. Might be time to make gmail my main account...
