Announcement: If you received an email to set up password recovery options for your AT&T Mail account, it is the real deal from AT&T. If you find out that you cannot remember your email or password, we have solutions for you below.

Top 3 Email Solutions

Using a client? Can't Sign In? Yahoo.com vs Currently.com
If you are having a hard time using your client, you may need to set up AT&T's New Security Feature to sign-in. Sometimes we forget our passwords and enter the wrong one. Resetting your password is one of the fastest ways to get back into your account.  If you are routed to AT&T's Sign-in, this is normal. Just use your att.net, sbcglobal.net, or bellsouth.net as normal.
Learn about Oauth and Secure Mail Key and compaible clients. Make sure you are using the right ID. Find it now. Still having trouble? Using a different browser or clear cache and cookies

If you have a free email account, you can reset the password at our email reset page.

  1. Go to Forgot Password page.
  2. Enter your User Name/ email address.
  3. Enter your Last Name.
  4. Follow the prompts.

If you are having issues with loading the login page, go to currently.com and click on the mail icon at the top right.

There is a way to change your password without knowing your security questions.  Go here.  That provides two ways to reset the password; using the security questions or using another email address to text message address.  Obviously you would use the second method.  There's a little video on that page describing the process.

A confirmation is sent as a text message or to email address you specify.  If you elect to do email then you can always set up a free email account in any number of places like gmail, aol, hotmail, etc.

Reset your password with security questions

  1. Visit the Forgot Password page.

  2. Select Password.

  3. Enter your full AT&T email address and your last name.

  4. Select Continue.

  5. From the drop-down menu, select I'll answer my security questions.

  6. Answer the security questions that you set for your account.

  7. Select Continue.

  8. Enter your new password choice.

  9. Hit continue.

  10. You should receive a message saying that your new password selection has been successful. At that point it will log out and bring you back to your login page to enter in your name password and log back into the system.

My husband cannot access his sbcglobal email anymore.  Are they no longer recognizing the sbcglobal?

My email password and or user id is no longer working for my sbcglobal.net account.  I see others have had this issue as well.  Started around Oct. 30,31 2018.  Any solutions??

Also having the email account problems. User id/password no longer working and security questions aren’t what was selected to start and no other option other than to answer them...

Same here. I have two sbclobal. accounts. Both are linked to eachother. When I try to get a key to unlock it, it tries to send it to the linked email. There is no way I can access either. I try ATT's site, and it says it does not recognize my user name.

I tried entering my clues, and nothing matches. I have my info saved on my phone. I know what the answers were.

So frustrating as EVERYTHING I do online is connected to these accounts for the past 12 years.

If you are having problems changing your password, or your can but doesn't fix your login problems then try calling the Digital Assistance Center (877-273-2728) for help.

The number won’t work, as they want an att phone number or account number to proceed.
