How do I delete my sbcglobal email address?

I do not have any ATT accounts anymore and it won't allow me to login to delete my account. This is my first ever email address that was created by my father around 2000. I mention this because in the past it said that only my dad's account could delete my account. He has passed away. Please help me delete it.

Here are the requirements to successfully delete an AT&T email account:
If your email account was created as a subaccount under your dad's account you will need to delete his member ID.
