Help with CARE CODE: 205.2 [LU003]

A few weeks ago I stopped being able to access one of my SBC Global email subaccounts via Yahoo email. I tried signing in with the username and password directly on various other platforms, but kept getting various errors. If I tried through Yahoo, it would log me into the main account, not the sub, which was strange.

When I try to log in directly, I get this error message now: There have been too many failed sign in attempts. To get help, please visit att.com/myatt and use Forgot user ID or Forgot password links. CARE CODE: 205.2 [LU003]

 

Then, when I try the "Forget Password" link, I get this error message: "Something's gone wrong. Please refresh the page and try again."

I'm not sure what is going on. The subaccount is still listed with all the accounts, but I can't edit it, or any of my other subaccounts. 

 

Any thoughts of how to fix this or is there a chat or number I can call to talk this out or walk me through this? Thanks.

I'm having this error code issue with an att.net email. Please help. I've been trying for a week. Reset password, clearing cache, using a different browser, and waiting more than 24 hours doesn't work, and no department will help me when I call. 

Please offer some guidance.

I get this error code about every 2 months that I have tried to sign in too many times unsuccessfully. Actually I just tried to open my email ONCE. I have changed my password 3x in February due to this error. So annoying to continuously change passwords. If this is a security action, OK, but 3x in 1 month is ridiculous.  This happens with my att.net email account.

Check out THIS post.  I gave a link and instructions for how to get higher level help on this problem.  The forum member got a quick call back and the issue was resolved quite quickly.

Now, it's Yahoo so no telling how long before they do something to screw it up again.

I have tried resetting my password but I cannot remember every answering the security questions I am asked for and there is not an option to ask for different questions. I will wait for 24 hours but I suspect something bigger is wrong here. I did put the correct password in.....have I been hacked? Cannot access from phone or computer. Help!!

I am having the same problem. It is impossible to access any at&t help, and the irony is to post or get help on this site you have to log into your at&t account. How to fix this? I did enter the correct password, it was in my keychain. Now I am locked out of my email on all devices (laptop/phone/desktop). I will wait 24 hours but I suspect this issue will not be fixed by waiting (based on reading other posts). This is unacceptable. I have been forced to create a gmail account just to work!!!!! at&t - what is going on there? When I try to reset the password I am given security questions I do not every remember asking....and there is not an option to change the questions for the security check.

I finally figured it out!

My account was linked to another AT&T account.  Once I unlinked it, I could log in.

This is the biggest most frustrating issue ever, I've been dealing with this issue for over a week now it does not reset after 24 hours that's a big lie, I've cleared my cache, cleared my cookies, nothing works to fix this issue!! 

AT&T fix your problem, clearly from all the posts there is a problem with your system!!!!
