Hello @jdlenwecare, we are here to assist with resetting your password.

 

So that we can point you to the right direction, are you trying to access an account with an AT&T service (Wireless, U-verse, DSL), or is this for an email account?

 

For email accounts, you can try resetting your email password using the temporary password option instead of the security questions:

  1. Go to http://sm.att.com/63cdf76f.
  2. Select Forgot password?
  3. Fill out the password info.
  4. Choose temporary password and follow the prompts. When you choose a temporary password, we’ll let you know where we sent it.
  5. Create your new password.

For existing accounts with AT&T service, go to the sign in page:

  • Enter the user ID associated with the account, and click continue.
  • Choose forgot password.

If you have a recovery method on file (an email, phone number, or mailing address) you will be able to select an option to receive a temporary password.

 

If you are still unable to access the account using the above steps, please let us know so we can meet in a private message and review the available recovery options.

this does not work as I tried it several times already!!!!!
