Email to set up password recover options?
Got an email stating:
ATTENTION! Our records show you have not set up password recovery options for your AT&T email account.
and a link to click on to update my profile.
Is this legitimate? I updated my profile several months ago so why am I getting this now?

Legit.
I don't know why AT&T does most of the bizarre things we see reported here and this is just another one. I just got that email today, too, even though I do have a recovery email that has been verified. Maybe they wanted a cell number (no thanks) or maybe because of all of the people getting locked out that they're just trying to minimize more of that from happening.

Thanks I will just ignore this email and not worry about it. This particular email is already tied to a verified recovery email in addition to my wireless number (the verified recovery cell number), so I don't know what else they possibly would need. (maybe my shoe size lol)
