Email not letting me enter due to last name?

Hello

I'm trying to access an old e-mail from years ago on sbcglobal.net. I've tried a couple passwords that I know were the only one I used at the time. It seems to work, but takes me to  page asking for my last name, stating Care code 205.2. i enter the only last name I've ever had and get:

Hmm… we can’t reset your password

We don’t have the account details needed to complete your request.

Does anyone know how to resolve this?

Please help!

We could help if you lost your e-mail password and want to reset it, or if you know your password but want to change it. To make sure you can always change or reset your password, you’ll want to:

Even though you might get your e-mail at our Currently website, you'll always manage your e-mail password on att.com (my AT&T).

Often, the password you use to sign in to your e-mail and my AT&T are the same. So, if you change your password for your e-mail, your AT&T user ID password will change, too.

Hi Leon, 

The problem is actually that I can't reset my password. As I said above, when I try that it asks for my last name and then give me this message: 

"Hmm… we can’t reset your password

We don’t have the account details needed to complete your request."

Any help for this issue?
