constantly having to reset password

Every 2 weeks I get signed out and I have to put my password back in. Problem is that it's not accepted and I can't get back in to my email. I'm forced to reset the password. If I want to sign in on my phone, the password will not work. I have to reset it which logs me out of my email on my PC. Then when I want to go back to view mail on my PC, the password will not work and I have to reset it again which signs me out of my email on my phone.

Why is this happening? I've been keeping the passwords on a clearly written note which is now a long list of my old passwords. I type it in exactly as it's written but it's never accepted again after 2 weeks. I'm having to reset it constantly between my PC, phone, and tablet as well. I've given up on viewing it on anything other than my PC because this has become so frustrating and time consuming.  The list of passwords grows every 2 weeks and now it's longer than my average shopping list.

Clearly there's a problem with password management on the server. I've been working in IT for almost 30 years now. Can someone please open a ticket and look into this?

If you look at the list of posts in this forum you'll see hundreds of them describing the same issue.  There is no fix at this time, ATTHelp just says engineers are "working on it".....since last October.  🙄

Most people have found that you can just enter the same password each time you are forced to reset it.  The system accepts that (obviously that's fubar'd as well) and you don't need to keep making up new ones or changing them on multiple devices.

Obviously this isn't acceptable either, but it's all we've got at this point, well, besides kicking your Yahoo-based email account to the curb.

Thanks tonydi. I had feeling that I was going to hear something like that. Seems to me this started shortly before they offered the paid email service.

And you are absolutely right about kicking yahoo to the curb. It's been on my mind for weeks now. Problem is I'm lazy and I have far too many accounts to change. Guess I could always start with the most important then work my way down the list.

TY again for the response!
