CARE CODE: 205.2 [LU003]

Can't log in to my email on one device (desktop).  Can easily log in via phone, tablet, laptop and another desktop.

Receive CARE CODE: 205.2 [LU003].  I have never had an issue with incorrect password and since I can log in via other devices, this obviously is some sort of error between Currently/AT&T and Yahoo Mail.

This just started happening this week.

Let's get you signed back into your email, @beckymcw!

First, let's have you attempt to reset the password for your email. The reason for this is that is re syncs your account and can correct sign in issues. YOu can take these steps to do so:

  1. Go to att.com/myatt.
  2. Select Forgot password?
  3. Fill out the password info.
  4. Choose security questions or temporary password and follow the prompts. If you choose a temporary password, we’ll let you know where we sent it.
  5. Create your new password.

Let us know if this helps, if not we have a few more thinsg we can try!

I’m having the same issue with error code 205.2. I got a reply but a can’t find the direct message inbox referenced in the reply. How else can we communicate to get this fixed?

Same problem here, and it's been going on for a couple of months now.  I'm tired of continually having to reset my password every two weeks for no reason at all.  I attempt to log in one time and it tells me I've tried too many times.  This is clearly an error on AT&T's part that they're doing absolutely nothing to fix.  There are similar complaints in the forum besides this one.

I reset my password and it still won't allow access to my email.  At least you are able to access your email  Don't have any problem on iPhone or iPad but prefer to use my laptop for replying to messages.  I about on the verge of transitioning to gmail if this doesn't get fixed soon.

This isn't the first time this has happened to me.  It was barley one month ago.  right now, I can only see my email on my mobile device.  I know better this time not to change my pw because it will lock me out completely with the same irritating message.  As soon as I access this email, I'm switching to gmail.

I either don't have the direct message inbox or I can't locate it.  What does it look like?  Thanks

Found the direct message inbox and have been waiting for over an hour for someone to help.  Customer service is really lacking for a problem they have created and don't seem to want to fix.

It just happened again and when I attempt to reset my password now I'm getting a message telling me "Something went went wrong" when I try and use my cell phone number to get a verification code.  It's also not accepting the second security question. answer  I'm completely locked out of my mail now and have no way of getting into it.  What am I supposed to do now???
