CARE CODE: 205.2 [LU003]

I can get into my email account on my phone and ipad but I can't access it on my computer.  I am getting an error message that says: 

"Looks like you’ve tried to sign in unsuccessfully too many times. Recover your ID or reset your password to continue.
CARE CODE: 205.2 [LU003]"
I used to only have to reset my password every couple of months, now it's every other week (which is a royal pain).
I have waited more than 24 hours (several weeks in fact), cleared the cache and cookies.  Still can't sign in.
Does AT&T have a solution for this? It's an sbcglobal account.

Let's get you logged back into your email, @kw1990.

 

If you're constantly getting a care code error when trying to sign in, the best steps you can take to resolve this problem is resetting your email password, and then immediately switching over your credentials in all of your email applications (outlook, apple mail, etc.) so that our servers aren't being pinged with incorrect login information.

 

You can reset your password easily by following these steps:

  1. Go to att.com/myatt.
  2. Select Forgot password?
  3. Fill out the password info.
  4. Choose security questions or temporary password and follow the prompts. If you choose a temporary password, we’ll let you know where we sent it.
  5. Create your new password.

(You may even want to try clearing your email credentials in those applications first, just to stop them from trying to connect with incorrect information and potentially causing another care code error once you do reset your password).

I have followed this exact procedure multiple times. The problem keeps recurring when logging in at att.com on my pc. It has been happening about every 10 days. It’s very frustrating changing passwords and all credentials that often.

Can ATT  fix this?
