CARE CODE: 205.2 [LU003] Unable to Login to Email
I have had my BellSouth email for years and never had a problem with logging into it until recently. I am still logged into my BellSouth ATT email on my phone but get the "CARE CODE: 205.2 [LU003]" error saying that I logged in too many times and that I need to reset or change my password. However, I am unable t change my password without being able to login from the website and when I try to reset my password, the only option available for me to reset my password is to answer 2 security questions that I don't remember. It's quite frustrating that the only option ATT gives me to reset my password is to answer 2 security questions that I don't remember since I created this email more than 10 years go. Is there anyway tat I can reset my password and login from my computer again?

Happy to help, BLS2022.
Try to sign in by resetting your password with the Forgot password option on myAT&T. Please wait 24 hours before attempting to reset the password, as this care code results in a 24-hour lock on the email account.
Let us know if you're able to sign in. If not, we'll try some other options.

I’m having the same problem! Why can’t I get “send temporary passcode” as an option? All other companies do it!

Not sure if this is still a live thread. I had a landline number that originated with PAC bell. I lost the landline # that I had for over 40 yrs and have been trying to get it transferred to a cell phone. I was told on 8/4/23 that it was a done deal and my SIM card would be sent to me . I hadn’t received my card so called yesterday spent over 2 hrs on the phone and was finally told that in order for it to be put onto my cell I need the customer code from my old PAC bell acct for security reasons. ( over the years the number had been ported over to other carriers).Obviously I no longer have that code. I’m being told there is no other way to get thru the security- which seems pretty ridiculous.
I have been lied to and given the run around now for hrs. I need someone who will actually not talk in circles be truthful and help. I’ve been given 3 different stories about the landline number, dealt with rude store managers and nasty managers by phone. I am extremely disappointed right now with ATT quality
