Can't sign in to one of my ATT.Yahoo email accounts

When I try to sign in to one of my ATT.Yahoo email accounts I just get a screen with  Currently From AT&T|yahoo! in the upper left corner and the same thing on the right side of the screen with Hi,there! and Welcome Select an account to sigh in or manage a saved account on this device under it and a list of my email accounts under that.  When I click on one of the accounts it signs me out and returns to the home screen.

We can help you with your email, buckeyegary

As of today, the known concern with the looping sign-in has been resolved. Please try to access your email again. If the concern persists, please use the following steps to clear the cache and cookies and browsing data from your browsers:

If you have a PC running Chrome, Firefox, Internet Explorer®, or Edge®:

  1. Open your browser.
  2. Press Ctrl+Shift+Delete.
  3. Select the items you want to clear.
  4. Select the Delete, OK, Clear, or Clear data button, depending on your browser type.
  5. Close and reopen your browser.

If you have a Mac running Chrome or Firefox:

  1. Open your browser.
  2. Press Command+Shift+Delete.
  3. Select the items you want to clear.
  4. Select the Delete or Clear button, depending on your browser type.
  5. Close and reopen your browser.

If you have a Mac running Safari:

  1. Open your browser.
  2. Select Safari in the top left corner next to the Apple icon.
  3. Select Preferences, then Privacy, then Manage Website Data.
  4. Select the items you want to clear.
  5. Select the Remove or Remove All button, depending on your choices.
  6. Close and reopen your browser.

If you are using a mobile device  please use these steps to do the same thing as above:

If you have an Apple iOS device running Safari®:

  1. Go to Settings.
  2. Find and tap Safari.
  3. Tap Clear History and Website Data. You’ll see a pop-up that lets you confirm your selection.
  4. Select Clear. The Clear History and Website Data button will turn gray.

If you have an iOS device running Chrome™:

  1. Open your browser.
  2. Tap the 3-dot menu at the bottom of the screen.
  3. Select Settings, then Privacy.
  4. Tap Clear Browsing Data.
  5. Choose Browsing History, Cookies and Site Data, or Cached Images and Files.
  6. Select Clear Browsing Data. You’ll see a pop-up that lets you confirm your selection.

Same here.  When I try to log in, "logout...." appears in the url, then I am either met with a blank page that never populates OR the yahoo mail sign in page that does not recognize my password.   BTW, I can access email on my android phone, but not on laptop or desktop, on any browser available.  Please advise.

We're here to help you get back into your email, @ridarri.

If you're having issues getting connected via web browser, there are a few troubleshooting steps you can try to fix this problem.

WebMail and Features Troubleshooting

  • Clear Cache and Cookies - The most common fix

  • Update Your Browser - many features are only compatible with the latest browser and we recommend updating it

  • Test signing in to your webmail using another browser

  • Disable browser tools or add-ons - varies by device and browser

  • Disable your firewall - varies by device and browser

It's also best to make sure that you're using a supported browser for the best sign on experience. If you're still having issues after that, then you can also try performing a password reset and waiting up to 24 hours for your information to resync. You can do so by following these steps:

  1. Go to att.com/myatt.
  2. Select Forgot password?
  3. Fill out the password info.
  4. Choose security questions or temporary password and follow the prompts. If you choose a temporary password, we’ll let you know where we sent it.
  5. Create your new password.

Let us know how these solutions work for you!

Yes, Jarod, thank you.  I am familiar with your suggestions, however, I have had to change my password 3 times in last four weeks.  Is att&t aware of a problem and are they addressing the issue?

We certainly are aware of this problem, ridarri.

We apologize for the inconvenience this has caused, but rest assured that we are working to find a resolution as quickly as possible. You'll know this has been resolved when you can log in on all your devices without getting stuck in a log-in loop.

If you need help with anything else in the meantime, don't hesitate to reach back out. Thank you for visiting the AT&T Community Forums.

I attempted to sign into my email account yesterday morning, 4-29-2022. I got caught in the repeated loop. I sign in and it brings up the sign in box again; repeats this process continuously. Before I signed out 4-28, I tried to reply to an email and it wouldn’t let me reply?  I have bellsouth.net email.

I shut down & restarted my computer. I have tried using Edge, Chrome and Firefox. Made no difference, I am still caught in this repeated loop. Got my PC first week of March 2022, so nothing really to clear and have no previous issues.

This morning, 4-30-2022, I tried to sign in again and I got a message saying “currently.att.yahoo.com refused to connect”. I can connect to other internet sites on my device, but not AT&T email.

It sounds like I'm not alone. Beginning yesterday when I attempt to sign in either to my Yahoo email or to att.com (from my desktop), the following happens: (1) I get the usual sign in screen. I enter the correct info and press "sign in." (2) I'm taken to another screen which asks me to sign in using my Yahoo account and tells me to choose an account (there's only one choice). I choose it and hit "Next." (3) The screen goes blank except for a "redirecting" notice. (4) An ATT loading screen (black with logo and progress bar) appears for a couple of seconds, followed by the "redirecting" screen, then the loading screen and so on endlessly.

Multiple attempts to contact "Customer Care" (hah!) by phone result in either being sent to a number which says I must pay for support or to another number which says I must contact my wireless provider. My wireless provider has nothing to do with this. They're not AT&T, thank goodness, and can do nothing about att.com. And yes, I cleared caches, tried multiple browsers, tried multiple devices including my phone, and reset my password.

Incidentally, the same thing happens when I go to the att.com website and click on the support link or any account-related link. Only this time the loop runs once or twice. Then an "Oops!" screen appears and tells me to sign out and sign back in. I am so @#$%&^$ frustrated!
