Can't log-in to sbglobal.net email account
I have gone on the forms and pretty much-tried everything. Different URLs etc and now I'm officially locked out because the AT&T webpage that it keeps taking me to can't find my email address. I have had this sbcglobal email account for years. I don't log into it often which is my fault, but this is ridiculous!
I found someone who said to make a new at&t account and then you would be prompted to merge the accounts - sbcglobal and at&t, but this never happened. Now I have an at&t email account, but it's not merged with my sbcglobal account.
So, here are my questions:
1. How do I now unlock my account
2. How do I even get someone on the phone or to talk to in order to figure out how to get into my email account
Yes, I do know the email address and I do know the password, however, it seems AT&T mysteriously can't find the email, backup email or any of my information. I know that the sbcglobal email is still up because I get the emails forwarded to my gmail account, so I know it's there in the dataverse somewhere.

We're here to help get you logged into your e-mail, jetgirl01! Based on the fact that you are currently locked out of your account, we would like to invite you into a Direct Message to resolve this for you.
In the meantime, can you let us know if you have been trying to login to Currently when accessing your e-mails? We recommend this, as it is a webmail that is supported by AT&T, and may give you more information on why you can't login.
You won't need to make a new AT&T account to merge with your e-mail. All you need to do is make sure that it has information for verification so that we have a way to send you a temporary password. This includes either a contact number, contact e-mail, or a residential address.
No worries though, to answer your two questions we can unlock your account by helping you in a Direct Message. Please check your Direct Message Inbox, which is the chat icon next to the bell icon in the upper right corner of the Forums page.

I'm having the same issue as Jetgirl01. I have an sbcglobal.net email account. I am able to get into it from my i-phone however I cannot login from my laptop. When I try using the forgot password option, I enter userid and last name and get the message Hmmm We can't reset your password. We don’t have the account details we need to reset your password right now. To get help, call 800.288.2020.
I've called the helpdesk and they tell me that they can't reset my password, nor can they update ay account details so that the password reset works. I have spent hours on the phones and even more trying different solutions. Can anyone help me login to my sbcglobal.net email?

Happy to help you get signed in to your email on your laptop, mcaputo435.
Is your Sbcglobal email the user ID for an active AT&T account, or is it a free email address that is not linked to an account?
The reason we're asking is that we don't have the ability to reset passwords for free email accounts at this time. However, if your email address is the user ID for an active account, we can send you a temporary password via SMS or postal delivery.
If your email address is not linked to an account, we suggest that you create a Secure Mail Key. This will allow you to access your email from any desktop program or email app, since you don't have to enter your password.
Lastly, make sure that when you try to sign in to your email on your laptop that you're using the Currently.com website, as it's the official email site for AT&T-support email domains.

I've been trying to get into my email for 2 days. I can access through my I-pad but not my lap top. I tried to change my password but I dont have the correct information to change it.
How to I get into my email from my laptop?

I am currently having the same issue! Will someone please help me access my [email scrubbed] account? So frustrating! I've been using it for years, I know my password is correct, yet it won't let me make a new one or access my account!

Having the same issue. I can receive email via my email apps on my ipad and iphone. I CANNOT get it on my desktop. Nor can I login to the currently.com site with my credentials on either desktop or mobile app. This started about 10:40a, April 13. When I do try to log into currently.com I get stuck in that att.com doo loop.

Same issue here. I called the helpdesk and they told me it was a known issue and they did not have an ETA on when it would be corrected. I've tried everything from resetting my password (because I get locked out after attempting to log in too many times) to changing my user id. I tried manually configuring Outlook by manually entering the SMTP and other info, I've tried using the myyahoo email app, the Microsoft mail app. Nothing works on my PC. It's been almost 6 months and it's really becoming an issue.

Found my old documentation where I had this problem before. Call 844-519-7078. Very nice state side folks that can unlock your account to allow a password reset.

I am now locked out of email on all devices. I have an sbcglobal.net acct. When I try and reset password I cant' remember security answers and log in tells me reached limit for unsuccessful sign in attempts. HELP
