Can't login to AT&T - Yahoo Mail

We have not been able to log into our AT&T - Yahoo Mail for 3 days now. Every time we try to log in, we receive the following message: 

Something's gone wrong

We may be having trouble with your connection. Connecting your device to Wi-Fi could help fix the issue or try again later.

Hey @ED824, thanks for reaching out, you've come to the right place! We'd be happy to help you gain access to your emails.

We recommend clearing your cache and cookies and also resetting your password. This may help the process of accessing your account. Below are the steps for resetting your password: 

  • Go to http://sm.att.com/253969c5.
  • Select Forgot password?
  • Fill out the password info.
  • Choose security questions or temporary password and follow the prompts. If you choose a temporary password, we’ll let you know where we sent it.
  • Create your new password.

Follow these steps if you're using a 3rd party client such as Outlook:

 

·         Test using webmail -If you are able to sign into your email via the web, the issue points to the app or mailbox you are using.

·         Mailboxes - We recommend using the latest version. Updates and changes may prevent it from working properly. 

·         Rebuild your mailbox profile - In some instances, rebuilding the profile fixes some issues. You may lose email doing this

·         Change your settings from POP to IMAP.

Thank you for Bruce for the response. We cleared the cache and cookies and we were able to access it after doing that.
