Can't log into SBCGLOBAL.net Email

My SBCGLOBAL.net email asked for my password this week as it does every month. The correct password was entered. Immediately got the message the number of attempts was exceeded. I have not been able to find a way to reset the password. When I go to MyATT I can only access an ATT email and phone account. What can I do?

@Sufy1  Now that you're in the right forum, take a look at the list of posts and you'll see about 90% of all the posts are about this issue.  You'll see the same workarounds from ATTHelp in most of them but the bottom line is there's no fix right now.

That's insane...no fix right now? How can that be?

What are the workarounds? Can you point them to me?

I am trying to get my email addresses on my Outlook and am having this same problem. This must be why they no longer have support telephone numbers.

You can't use Outlook with sbcglobal emails anymore. I use Yahoo mail to access the account.

@Sufy1  How can that be?  I don't know, maybe because Yahoo/AT&T engineers are incompetent or because there's far more to the story than they're telling us.

Like I said, look at some of the posts and you'll see comments from ATTHelp with various things to try.

@jlamm9663  Not sure why you can find the support number.  At the bottom of the home page for att.com there's a Contact Us link which leads to pages that give multiple numbers for various things.

@wiscdance   That's not true at all.  See this post.

This is from att.com site. Which option is for email??

Unless you get email through AT&T wireless, TV, home phone or home security, I'd say Internet!
