Let's help you gain access to your email, @philuzzo!
The 205 error code you're seeing is essentially due to bad actors who have been trying to access AT&T email accounts. We're aware that this is happening, and are currently working toward a resolution. Learn more about the dreaded 205 error code and what we're doing to fix it.
In the meantime, we recommend following the troubleshooting options below:
My password for my email account ending in @bellsouth.net is being called incorrect on my Mac desktop, and now, also on my phone. I can not access my email.
I have tried clearing the cache, etc as suggested, but the AT&T site says it doesn't recognize my email anymore. What a mess. For those trying to help, when Bellsouth died, AT&T took over the email accounts, and then Yahoo mail seemed to take it over. From the Yahoo site, all help inquiries pass to AT&T. Any help is appreciated!
