Cannot recover account password

My father is trying to reset his old account password but has run into some difficulty for the following reasons:

1. The account was created prior to the 2-factor identification requirement

2. The account was created prior to mandatory security questions

We called the helpline and were basically told we were out of luck.

What your father is experiencing with his email is likely part of a known issue, and we're working to resolve this as soon as possible. We encourage you to review our Forums post all about Care Code: 205.2, which includes workarounds and causes.
