Cannot access sbc email
My husband is unable to access his sbc email account which was set up probably 20 years ago. For numerous reasons over the years including account hacking and simply forgetting his email, he changed his password. Sometimes the new password was written down, sometimes it wasn't. He now has been locked out for too many attempts to sign in. In the past, we could call customer service and they would send a code to his phone to enable him to change his password. They claim they can no longer do that - that the only way to reset now is to answer the security questions. Those questions were answered 20 years ago. He's 73 years old - he doesn't remember what he answered. I am able to have them text me a code because I had that set up as an option - unfortunately, he didn't have that set. So, even though they have texted him a link in the past, they can't do that now because his account is not set up for that - just security questions that he doesn't remember. There has to be a way to access his account and reset his password. We will be glad to go somewhere with his ID to prove it's really him, if we need to. Thanks for any help.
