Cannot access my att.net email

I was trouble shooting a power loss and I needed to call AT&T repair. In the process, the AT&T technician tried to help me and set up an app that didn't work on my iPhone6. Accessing AT&T on the phone didn't work, so we changed the PW. Ever since I have not been able to get my att.net emails non my MacBook. I can enter the email address, but it tries to send a confirmation to the att.net address, which is not operational, or it sends me to a screen where it asks for a PW, which I have, but it doesn't allow me to enter it. It's more than frustrating, and I have been trying for 3 days. I don't know what to try next.

We recommend that you follow the steps below:

  • Open AT&T Mail in a different web browser.
  • Verify that your browser accepts cookies.
  • Enable JavaScript, and make sure it’s up to date.
  • Disable browser tools or add-ons to see if they’re causing issues with email access.
  • Enable Adobe Flash Player and make sure it’s updated.

    Also, there might be an issue with your email account settings or configuration. Here are some steps you can try to resolve the issue:
  1. Check your email account settings on your MacBook to ensure that they are correct. You can find the correct settings for your AT&T email account on the AT&T website .
  2. Try accessing your email account from a different device or web browser to see if the issue persists.
  3. Clear your web browser’s cache and cookies, then try accessing your email account again.
  4. Disable any browser extensions or add-ons that might be interfering with your email access.
  5. Check your firewall, antivirus, and anti-spyware settings to ensure that they are not blocking your email access .
