bellsouth.net email
I have a decades old bellsouth.net email account that I must regain access urgently. The traffic contains historic information essential to the family's ongoing lives! I need someone to provide me whatever support necessary to help me regain access to &/ reactivate my old email a/c: [email scrubbed].

Hi @JCS_SFT,
We understand the importance of being able to access your email, and we're glad to help!
We suggest a password reset. When changing from devices, sometimes a password reset is needed. It'll re-sync your email and get everything freshened up.
If this doesn't help, we suggest checking to see if your device is compatible with Oauth. It's AT&T's open authentication security feature, and it's required to log in.
If your device isn't compatible with Oauth, we suggest creating a Secure Mail Key. This will bypass Oauth with a 16 character code.
Please let us know if this helps!

FionaA, AT&T Community Forum Specialist,
I followed your ATTHelp instructions, but on my Profile @ Sign-in info, for the #2 action, NO "email account" was listed to "Select", NOR did I find it under the "Menu" that you referenced; hence, I'm preempted from proceeding w/ "needs a secure mail key."
ATTHELP still needed, urgently please!

Fiona, AT&T Community Forum Specialist,
I just attempted that you referred me to; and, "Submit feedback". I have NO idea whether you can see that "Submit"; so, I'll share that "bellsouth.net" email a/c access didn't appear to be immediately included among the topics listed. Again, HELP needed urgently, and NOT via another referral to an innocuous hunt to maybe find self-help resource; rather, sincere & genuine aide from an expert service support person!
