Bellsouth.net email

Hello! So I’ve had a bellsouth.net email address for close to 20 years.  I recently purchased a new iPhone and either the recent update or my new phone knocked me out of my account.  (I don’t use my work laptop to sign in so my iPhone is my only source for signing in).  Well, I’ve tried and tried to remember the password and can’t.  When I select forgot password, it gives me an error code 205.2.  Please help! I can verify whatever information or email I need to.  All my utility services and other websites are linked to this account so I can’t get into anything! Thank you!

Hi there, Carynau. We understant that you are getting the dreaded 205.2 error code when you go to log into your email. We can help you with that.

 

Since you have attempted to reset your pass already, we are going to skip that part. We are going to move this conversation to a direct message. Be on the lookout for a chat notification in the upper right-hand portion of the page, next to the bell icon. Once you're there, we can continue this over the phone or in chat if you'd prefer.

I wanted to come back here and comment.  This DOES work!!  My representative was amazing.  ATT reach out to me, I filled out a form to verify the account (be ready to give a bunch of info which was ok to me) and it is not UNLOCKED! Thank you ATT for the excellent customer service.  So happy ❤️
