Bellsouth.net email 'suspended'
24+ year Bellsouth/ATT customer. They discontinued DSL. I cannot move to Fiber. I was told to call and 'cancel' the DSL in order to make the bellsouth.net email account a 'free' account. I was told 24 hours after the cancellation it would move to be a free account. So went that path. Now I'm told the account cannot be 'un' suspended and its gone from the server. When trying to log in I get a 'not found on Accelerator' error. I talked to literally 8 different AT&T groups/numbers from DSL Loyalty to Billing to Digital Support. Help.

We're here to assist with getting you back into your email, @ScottMcN!
We understand the importance of having access to your email. Furthermore, we'll do what we can to resolve this for you.
First, you should be able to access the email still as long as there was not a balance due at the time of cancellation. If there is currently a past due balance on the account, it will need to be settled before gaining access to your email again.
If the account was in good standing at the time of cancellation then we recommend clearing the cache and cookies of the browser you are using. Doing this will clear any browser settings that may be causing the error to occur. This is also the recommended fix for the Accelerator not found message.
Let us know if this helps! If not, we have a few more things we can try.

Thanks for trying to help much appreciated. That did not work. There is no balance due. When I called DSL help to try again (3rd time) the Rep was much more blunt said Accelerator message meant email account had been wiped from server and was no way to retrieve it. he basically said stop calling we can’t help you. Any other things I can try?

Hi, @ScottMcN!
That's definitely not what we like hearing from y'all!
Let's go ahead and move this conversation into a direct message. This way we can attempt to locate your email in our internal system to give you a proper answer as to what is going on. Be on the lookout for a chat notification in the upper right-hand portion of the page, next to the bell icon.
