ATTYahoo email and Outlook 2019 login problems

I just purchased a new Acer desktop and bought a product key for Office 2019.  Also, I have a 6-year old Acer desktop with Outlook 2019.  Until 2 days ago, my older desktop continually worked with Outlook.  For 2 days, I have attempted to log into both desktops using my ATTYahoo email password.  I am unable to link the two.  On my desktops, android phones and android tablets I can access my ATTYahoo email either through the website or the app.  On my android devices we can also access my ATTYahoo email account through Outlook.  The problem is simply having our 2 desktops access my ATTYahoo email account through Outlook 2019.  Advice on the web recommends that I obtain a Yahoo App password.  The problem is that when I follow the instructions to visit the Yahoo website and go my Account Info. it takes me to the ATT website with no option to generate a Yahoo App Password.

Any advice on this issue would be most welcome!

Thanks,

David

First, create a Secure Mail Key.  Yahoo App Passwords don't work on Yahoo/AT&T accounts.

If you already have an SMK and it's not working, use that link to go in and delete it and create a new one. Use that one in Outlook instead.

Then in Outlook use that key wherever Outlook asks for a password.

If you still get errors, use these alternate servers instead of the att.com servers.

IMAP

imap.mail.yahoo.com  (use Port 993 and SSL/TLS)

smtp.mail.yahoo.com  (use Port 465 and SSL/TLS)

POP3

pop.mail.yahoo.com  (use Port 995 and SSL/TLS)

smtp.mail.yahoo.com  (use Port 465 and SSL/TLS)

Thanks.  Two years ago, they required I create an SMK and did so.  After I moved my older desktop to another room, I noticed the password to access Outlook 2019 was that SMK I had created.  So, I changed the password on that desktop to the correct password that is working on all of my android devices with Outlook.  It also works on all of my devices including the desktops when using the Yahoo mail website or app.  After I made this change, the older desktop would no longer connect my Yahoo mail to Outlook.  I will take your advice and create another SMK and use it on both desktops.
