ATT.NET password reset
I am trying to help my aunt who has lost you ATT.NET password and does not remember the answers to her security questions. Is there a help line or some other way to get the password reset?
We have been told to go to an ATT store and they said call Yahoo at 1-800-305-7664 and the recording said it could not help with ATT emails.

We'd be happy to help you get back into your email account, @daknapton.
So that you're aware, this is a known issue and is largely due to bad actors who have been trying to access AT&T email accounts. We're in the process of working on a resolution, but you can get more information about it here in the Forums.
In the meantime, try these options as a workaround:
We also recommend that you update your security questions and answers and set up text messages for password resets once you're signed in, in case you forget your password in the future.
Let us know if you were able to sign in, or if you need further assistance!

Same issue here: I am family tech support for a 93 year old relative who can't recall the answers to his security questions. I spent FOUR HOURS yesterday trying to research how to address the "your swbell account settings are out-of-date" message that popped up on his Microsoft email account. He has been locked out of his email for a week - and understandably has no idea how to navigate. Please AT&T Support, can you just post a work-around how-to for these situations?

I did get a hold of a great person from AT&T and she helped me resolve the issue.

After many attempts at answering his security questions, we finally found success, and I was able to help my relative sign in. Thank you.
