att.net login

I've used @att.net for almost 30 years and Outlook 2003 for 20 years. Now I I can't receive mail on my desktop or phone. When I log into yahoo, currently, It loops back to the login page. there is no "not you" button on the log in page. all remedies found on google (ipconfig/flushdns, clear cookies, ncpa.cpl) have not worked.

Here's the procedure for setting up Outlook.

First, create a Secure Mail Key.   If you already have an SMK, go in and delete it and create a new one.  For reasons unknown, sometimes the key becomes invalid and needs to be replaced.

Then create the account in Outlook and use that key wherever Outlook asks for a password.

If you still get errors, use these alternate servers instead of the att.com servers.

IMAP

imap.mail.yahoo.com  (use Port 993 and SSL/TLS)

smtp.mail.yahoo.com  (use Port 465 and SSL/TLS)

POP3

pop.mail.yahoo.com  (use Port 995 and SSL/TLS)

smtp.mail.yahoo.com  (use Port 465 and SSL/TLS)
