AT&T Yahoo Sign in Loop

Cannot remotely log onto att.net email account through Android phone.  It keeps taking me to a Yahoo sign up page, where it asks me to re-enter user ID and then when I put in password it loops me back to Yahoo sign in page.  In the middle of a move from one home to another with about a dozen realtor, title company and utility emails flying back and forth.  This is NOT a good time to have to deal with this.  Help!

By the way, I have already reset the password, restarted the phone, etc. to no avail.

Thank you for reaching out to us.  We get that you're trying to gain access to your email account. We are here to guide you.

 

The first step we recommend taking is to clear your cache and cookies. This will delete and store password information from your browser, and can make it easier to update your password.

 

We have a few things to try to resolve this:

  • Uninstall and reinstall the app
  • Make sure the app is up to date


Doing theses steps can clear any settings that may be causing the error to occur.

 

It's also possible that you may need to create a secure mail key for your email. This is a 16-character passcode that will be generated and take place of your current email password for when signing into email apps such as Yahoo Mail.

Also, we suggest using Currently to access your email account. Since it's supported by AT&T, this can minimize any outside influences that may be giving you trouble with your email.
