AT&T Yahoo email password reset

EVERY time I log out of my AT&T Yahoo email, and anytime my logged in account remains idle for more than a few hours, I am forced to reset my password. I try to log in and receive a message telling me that my user ID or password is incorrect. I end up resetting my password at least three times a day. This problem has existed for almost a year now (for me, at least), and I have requested help endless times. WHAT"S UP AT&T!!!

Hi there, @frevangelista. We understand that you are having problems staying logged in to your email. We do know that is frustrating, and we want to eliminate that frustration.

The first thing that we would like for you to do is, clear the cache, cookies, and saved passwords in the browser. The reason why is, clearing those things will give the browsers a fresh start. The aforementioned article will give you the steps for all browser, both PC and mobile alike.

After clearing the cache, cookies, and saved passwords, then you want to reset your password one more time. We are going to add some other steps, to the steps, that are located in the article that we have provided.

After step 5 in the reset article:

6. Go to AT&T/Yahoo.

7. Click on Sign In

8. Enter in your full email and new password.

9. Click Sign In

10. If successful, the browser should ask you to save it. Click Yes.
11. The page should refresh and you can click on the envelope icon, and that should take you to your inbox.

Additionally, after resetting your password online, if you use other devices to check your email on, like a phone or tablet, you will need to update them as well, so that everything syncs up properly.

If you run into any problems or errors, please reply back here and we can help resolve them.

Thank you for contacting AT&T Community Forums.

I followed the steps in the comment above, Having reset my password at 10pm the night before. After entering my information, I received the "Check your entry and try again..." message, as I ALWAYS do. This happens every time I log out, and most time when my email sits idle for an hour or two. Infuriating.

We apologize for this inconvenience and would like to help you regain access to your email account, @frevangelista.

In order to proceed further, we would like you to join us in a Direct Message.

You can do this by checking in the DM inbox which is located next to the bell icon.

We are looking forward to working with you to get this resolved.

Latoya, thank you for the response. I look forward to getting this issue resolved. However, I do not see a bell icon or a DM inbox. Where can I find that?
