AT&T Email Login Impossible (Likely Hacked)
It's been years since I was last able to access my att.net email. Not for lack of trying, mind you. Anytime I attempt a login, I am told that my username/password combination is not recognized despite typing exactly what I wrote in my password notebook.
Trying to reset my password has been a real test of patience. I know that I myself am not without fault, however; This would probably be much simpler if I could remember the answers to my security questions.
Considering my abhorrent neglect for password security all those years ago, I have reason to believe that the account has been hacked.
I've resolved that I would like one of two things to happen to my att.net email: 1) have access to the account restored or 2) delete the account outright. Neither of these things seem possible without outside help.

I had the same issue! It’s no longer the password that I have written down and saved in my iCloud keychains. When I input the email into Yahoo to see if they could help, they said they could text a security code to the number on file, but it’s not my phone number!!! It’s so scary and frustrating. Still trying to get help from AT&T on it as I’ve called 4 times and am now awaiting help in a private chat for the second time.
