at&t email keeps logging me out when i do anything else or away. i saw the clear cache/cookies advice, but it is on all 4 devices i have. i check the 'keep me logged in' option everytime. it doesnt matter.
As of now, resetting your password resyncs your account which corrects the error code. That is the current work around at the moment for this ongoing trend. We do apologize for this inconvenience.

I just noticed the "keep me signed in" check box on the sign in page. I've checked that each time I logged in over the past few days and that seems to keep me signed in so far. I don't remember if that option was there before when it kept automatically logging me out. I had already re-set my password twice when all of that was going on and it didn't help. I hope they still will resolve the issue.
@DeadEye57 I'm happy for you. This give me hope. I have tried checking the "keep me signed in" box every time for weeks and nothing works. So, today I reluctantly and begrudgingly changed my password as ATT seems to suggest as the solution to every problem. But, guess what...that didn't resolve the problem either. An hour later, my webmail timed out again like it has done every hour of every day, no matter what I try, for 17 straight days. How long was yours acting up before it was fixed today?
Mine started acting up during the week of 6-6. I've changed my password at least 3 times. It would log me off every hour. I hope mine continues to work. I can even refresh the page without being logged off!
Which domain is your email address part of? @att.net?
Are you reading mail on Yahoo?
Do you have more than one ATT.net or Yahoo account?
With one person I helped, I had her check her main in a separate browser profile, since some other browser activity might end up expiring or overwritten login cookies.
So, if you want to try that, make. dedicated browser profile for your email and do all of your other activity (including other email accounts) in a different profile.
Here is how to try it in Chrome. If you don't like it, you can always delete the extra profile: https://support.google.com/chrome/answer/2364824?hl=en&co=GENIE.Platform%3DDesktop
Do you have any other Yahoo.com or att.net accounts? I find they they can interfere with each other, which is why I put each individual email account into its own browser context (profile).
I had one user with an sbcglobal.net and att.net account, and when she used one it logged out the other. If fixed it by having her use an independent browser profile for each account.

It seems like they should have this fixed after 3 weeks. I wonder if they've been hacked and don't want to tell us.

@DeadEye57 Yay! Maybe I'm next in line for the fix. Mine also started about June 5 or 6. Hope eternal!
