sbcglobal email account not sending receiving email on Iphone

I am attempting to set up my email on my iphone using mail. I have followed the steps I have seen online over and over and while the account is listed I keep getting an error that I need to go to Mail Account Settings because there's no password for the email. I select settings at the same prompt box and it takes me there. The password is filled in and when I finish it goes into verifying and spins over and over.

I am not sure if I am missing a setting or step elsewhere etc. I have deleted and readded multipole times and need them to work so I can have access to my mail when out of the office.
