Why do you think your Yahoo/AT&T email account is closing?
Please don't tell me you got emails from AT&T saying you had to set up a new account because they were closing your old account as of such and such a date. And if you did, please don't tell me you clicked the link and filled out your login info.

Oh, ok, phew!
You can continue to use the Yahoo/AT&T account as long as you left AT&T "in good standing", meaning no open balances on the account and that you've returned all equipment requested. So it's not going away.
The only way I know to move your email to a different email provider is to get a Gmail account and use the Import tool in Accounts & Imports in Settings.
It will copy all of your Yahoo/AT&T email over to the Gmail account, including all folders. There's an option to copy Contacts as well. The tool will run for 30 days and continue to copy any new email that comes in.

I have been to Gmail and did not see Accounts & Imports or Settings. Where do I find it?
