from addresses are spam and not blockable with outlook client

a new spam method of having a 100+ foreign character @domain that outlook can't block. Why are these not automatically filtered out by at&t/yahoo? receiving 10-20 a day

Hey @rustyben112, let's take a look at these emails.

You'll need to contact our fraud department, and forward the emails to abuse@att.net.

We also suggest following the steps in this guide, it'll help you protect your email from fraud.

We hope this helps!

not a fix. I forwarded 10 or so but they continue to arrive every day. migrating my normal emails off this now as the daily load of spam has exploded and the web interface is not blocking the 'type' of email address at all. why can't they reject the malformed hugely long foreign language domains automatically??

@rustyben112   Take a look at the list of posts here in these Email forums.  You'll see a boatload of people with the exact same issue.  It's been happening on and off since the beginning of the year.  Right now we're in the ON mode.

Speculation is that Yahoo's server-side spam filters are currently not enabled, thus all the stuff you'd never see, not even in your spam folder, is now coming through unchecked.

Nobody from AT&T has even attempted to claim they are "working on it" like they have done constantly for months on the issue that keeps blocking people from logging in.

the headers are not missing. the dmarc spf dkim are all set to none. on some the reply to is <> (empty). the header includes a spammish non-working subscribe link.

It appears the spam notification is purely ignored. I've received nothing from at&t/yahoo about the samples I forwarded to the fraud email.
