Email Box Full?

Several friends have told me that emails sent to me have come back to them with a message saying "Email box full." 

What can I do about that?

If your AT&T email inbox is full and causing emails to bounce back, there are a few steps you can take to address this issue:

 

1. Check Your Inbox Settings:
   - Log in to your AT&T email account.
   - Click on the gear icon (usually located in the upper-right corner) and select "More Settings."
   - Customize your settings, including how you view your mail, your email signatures, vacation response, and email filters¹.

 

2. Sort Your Inbox:
   - By default, your emails appear in chronological order, with the newest emails at the top.
   - You can also sort your inbox by other criteria such as date (newest or oldest), unread status, starred emails, sender, subject, or attachments.
   - To sort your inbox, click on the "Sort" option at the top of your inbox and choose your preferred sorting method¹.

 

3. Consider Using Folders and Filters:
   - Organize your emails by creating folders for specific types of messages (e.g., work, personal, newsletters).
   - Set up filters to automatically categorize incoming emails based on criteria you define (e.g., sender, subject, keywords).
   - This can help keep your inbox organized and prevent it from becoming too cluttered.

 

4. Switch Between Classic and Full Versions:
   - AT&T Mail offers both a classic version and a full version.
   - To switch between them:
     - For the full version, select "Switch to the newest AT&T Yahoo mail" from your webmail inbox.
     - For the classic version, go to "More Settings," find the "Personalize inbox" section, and select "Switch to classic Mail".
