Certain emails keep going to spam

Certain emails keep going to spam. I have marked them as not spam, added them to my contacts but nothing helps. The same senders used to go directly to my inbox but not anymore. I move them from spam folder to my inbox but 5 seconds later, they go right back into the spam folder. How can I get this corrected?

Hey, @Yarko Rehab! We're here to help get your emails routed to the correct folder.

If you aren't already, we suggest using Currently to access your email. Since it's supported by AT&T, doing so can help to eliminate a number of problems, such as your emails being routed to the wrong folder.

We also recommend that you use your email settings to create filters to send particular emails to your inbox, spam, or other folders. Here's what to do:

  1. Select the gear Gear icon and then More Settings.
  2. Choose Filters.
  3. Select Add to create a filter.
  4. Enter the conditions for your filter and then select Save.

If those steps don't work right away, you may need to try clearing your browser's cache and cookies. This can help to refresh your browser and potentially allow those changes to your email to be recognized.

In addition to that, we've got a great Login and Email Solutions guide that's filled with more troubleshooting options. The section titled 'Email Not Going Where It Is Supposed To?' is a good starting point.

If you're not using Currently.com (the official website for AT&T email), you'll want to check out the 3rd Party Mailbox - (Outlook, Apple Mail, Mozilla Thunderbird) section as well.

Let us know if this helps! If not, we may need to explore some other troubleshooting options on our end.

It did not help.  If I switch to Currently, do I keep the same email address and do all the emails transfer over?  If not, this is not an option.

Thank you for that update, @Yarko Rehab!

When using Currently you will continue to use the same email address. All the emails will also be there as this is the official email page for AT&T. As opposed to if you were to use Outlook or Apple mail where emails are imported from the server.

After trying Currently, let us know if you continue experiencing the same thing!
