Wife cannot check email
My wife has not been able to check her email for a couple months. the reason, is her account is under my account, it didn't used to be but when it changed to currently, shortly after that, it started (we are on legacy sbcglobal emails). When she tries to log in she gets this error "Looks like you’ve tried to sign in unsuccessfully too many times. Recover your ID or reset your password to continue." so if she changes her password, it changes my password. Then she can log in once. The next time she logs in she gets the same error. I have tested this and it doesn't matter if it is 10 days or 10 seconds, it immediately goes back to the same error. So if she wants to check her email, I have to change my passwords on all my devices. this really (Edited per community guidelines). Someone suggested unlink her account, and someone else said no don't do that she will lose her account and all her emails. HELP!

I have a concern because on the links people are talking about sub accounts they want to get rid of, my wife wants to keep her email address. Also I dont know how this will make a difference with the first issue which is the error when she tries to login.

Let's get your emails working again, @Bobby_2014_Hippo!
Before we look into possibly unmerging accounts, you may want to try some email troubleshooting steps first. If you scroll down to where it says Bellsouth.net and SBCGlobal.net sign in Issues, you'll find instructions.
Please let us know if this helps!
