Website Blocked by AT&T

AT&T has begun blocking our company's URLs and we have hundreds of customers that are unable to reach our sites.

Background:
  • Similar errors are seen on other browsers such as Chrome and Safari.
  • Customer A calls AT&T and confirms it is AT&T's firewall preventing access. AT&T lifts the block on link.m.atxbar.membercentral.org for Customer A, and Customer A is then able to successfully access the redirect link.
  • Customer A can turn off the exception via their AT&T app.
Based on #3, 4, 5 we know the block is originating from AT&T.

As of today, another one of our URLs has been blocked: link.t.sdcba.membercentral.org

I've contacted noc@att[dot]net 4 times since the beginning of the month with no response at all.
It's unrealistic to have hundreds of people exempt this domain from their personal firewalls...

From reading online forums, most say the reason for the block is SSL related. However, we have confirmed our SSL's are valid and we are not on any block lists. We verified using an online SSL checker and MXToolbox.

Please let us know how we can proceed with having our website domain removed from AT&T's block list.

Thank you for your time!
Regards,
-Brett W

Brett, I think you're on the right track as far as who needs to fix this but NOC people don't seem to be too keen on dealing with the "public".

You need someone higher than the NOC people (no, not their moms, higher) to intervene on your behalf.  Fill out the form HERE.  This will get forwarded to the Executive Care group at AT&T and they can start the ball rolling.   Expect a call (or perhaps two) from numbers you don't recognize so be prepared to answer them.  It usually takes about a day or so to get back to you.
