Upload speed in my area
My upload speed with a 12Mb plan is at .36 speed!!! I cant watch a tv show without it stopping every five seconds!!! what can i do?? I have an Ariss Modem NVG510, im in North HOllywood CA and in my area I bought the second highest speed plan.....the next up is 18Mb.... But im already paying 40$ for what im getting, it should be faster than this! ANyone have thoughts? know what i can do?

That upload speed isn't proper for ADSL2+ plans at that tier. Have you had a technician out?
Also, upload around that shouldn't be causing videos to buffer.
Are you directly connected to your gateway when determing this?
