Upgrading your Browser from IE11
To continue enjoying and maximizing your att.net email experience, we ask that you please upgrade to a new web browser. In the near future, Internet Explorer 11 will no longer be supported, therefore we ask that you upgrade to the latest Firefox or Chrome Browser. If you opt to continue using your existing Internet Explorer web browser your mail experience will revert to AT&T’s ‘Basic Mail’.

I hate Chrome and Firefox so now what do I do? I have chrome and am always running into problems as I am not as savvy as you younger folks (72) years young. Is there some where I can go to get help that doesn’t cost an arm and a leg?

I am tired of this I am not a Robot to log in I do not see good enough to tell all the items in pictures, and sometimes takes 2-3 times to get it. I hope they are making changes to do away with that or I will have to go elsewhere.

What is ATT's "basic mail"? I may find that satisfactory.

Google and Mozilla are not about to give up the users to Microsoft. ATT and others are pushing users to use the browsers Google wants for pure tracking reasons. for every user who signs up with them money flows to the web site owner.
While the terms of Google's contract with Mozilla are not public, even if Mozilla were contractually free to include anti-Google-tracking features, it would not be a wise move, business-wise. After all, it is not too smart to anger the company that provides more than 85 percent of your financing. The close relationship between Google and Mozilla leads to a number of serious conflicts of interest. The end result is that users' online privacy and security take a backseat to the protection of Google's revenue streams.
Google pays AdSense publishers (Web site owners) money for every user who downloads the browsers as a result of a referral link from one of their pages.
Regardless of what the message here is from ATT, it's all about tracking and marketing.

Here's a comparison of "full featured" vs. "basic".
