SCAM! Do not click any links in the e-mail. Delete and otherwise ignore.

Hey Cruiser73, we see that you're have questions related to if the email you received is a scam. We're here to help.
As the Ace stated do not click any emails that your not sure are legit. Contacting Yahoo would be the best way to confirm if the email is indeed a scam.
Here is information on how to spot fake/fraudulent emails. Spam Text & Fraudulent Email - Things to Know From AT&T- will help spot fake emails.
Please let us know if that helps.

If you have a Yahoo! account (vs. an AT&T e-mail account, hosted by Yahoo!), then that would be a question about Yahoo!'s services and policies, not AT&T's.
Your post has nothing to do with the thread at hand.
