Unable to download free McAfee Internet Security Suite
I am trying to download the Mcafee Internet Security Suite to a new computer. I have ATT Internet 24 (24 mbps) which is supposed to qualify but when I click the download site and click on English language, the page jumps to a Mcafee subscription page. There is no link for the ATT free Internet Security Suite download.
Any suggestions?

Here is why.. AT&T uses OAUTH and cookies. You may be authenticated using a different account. Like if you payed your cell bill last etc. The browser will hold the credentials. This will cause a conflict when trying to download McAfee.
If this does not work. Make sure you do not have any browser security plugins enabled. Some of these will block the scripts from properly running.
Let me know if this helps.

Having the same issue. Takes me to the McAfee web page which doesn't recognize any of my ATT info. ATT needs to fix this.

Hey @kjung
Check with an AT&T rep to verify your access ID that is the primary email for the qualifying service. You may be using another email that is not the primary and it is failing to link the service. The download will first check if you qualify, otherwise it will move you to request a pay subscription. Sometimes the browser will hold prior credentials, so using a private window should clear those creds before checking.

This is AT&T version of we are not going to fix it anytime soon unless we make more money from it.

Lukz, that is not the case. McAfee has confirmed that AT&T has a problem with their link. McAfee tech started a new case on this with AT&T. I am still not confident it will be fixed.

I spoke with McAfee again earlier today. They confirmed that the link from AT&T to them was broken, and that is why it redirects to main McAfee website. No way to download yet
